South Coast Branch wish announce that Joanna Stacey of Shellharbour Surf Life Saving Club and Brett Duggan of Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club have been selected as the South Coast Branch Female & Male Junior Life Saver of the Year for 2011/2012 season.

Meeting Notes

Event Management is now on line for entry’s. As you will see from minutes of BOSS meeting we are pushing for water safety. BOSS recommends $10.00 fine for each person not supplied by clubs. There will be a rooster set up for water safety for the whole day not everybody early, then no body later in the day.

Standard Operating Procedures Review Circular

Please ensure this is circulated widely through to your patrolling members.

No Doubt members would have some good sound thoughts for improvement/additional inclusion and recognition of amendments that may be required.

As the Next SC Branch Council Meeting is not until February, I recommend all clubs at least do a review and complete the improvement request document if you have any recommendations and fwd. to SC Branch as soon as possible.

Junior Age Managers Theory Course

All Members in Involved in Junior Activities.

A Junior Age Managers Theory Course will be conducted on 7 December, 2011.

The practical portion will be done at your own club.

Youth leadership & development camp

The camp provides the opportunity for members in the U/13 and U/14 age groups to participate in some prac-tical leadership and teamwork activities over the course of the weekend and listen to some inspiring speakers talk about their leadership experiences. It also allows the participants to meet other surf club members from the branch and form some lifelong friendships.

Activities will include Sailing on Jervis Bay . Hosted by Defence Maritime Services. Download flyer
