The following is how to create your account.  There is Important Information for Families.  Please read carefully and create an individual account for all members.

REMEMBER:  The last thing to do is PAY.  You only have to do one payment for FAMILY memberships.  In the description put the family members names.

Example:  Bill, Jenny, Karen & Tommy SPUD Family plus 2 nippers = $89-00

Family membership is $65-00 plus if you have a nipper it is $12-00 capitation per child.  Individual Nippers $ 30-00

Active members (Cadet)  under 18 – $ 21-00              Active over 18 – $ 32-00                      Long Service – $ 32-00

Create Account

You may create an account to use Lifesaving Online if you are, or have previously been a member of an SLSA Organisation such as a Surf Club; or if you are intending to join an SLSA Organisation for the first time.

If you are a brand new member and are currently doing your award at a Surf Club, you must select “No” for the first question, then “Apply to join a surf club”.

If you have ever belonged to an SLSA Surf Club or other Organisation, or have previously registered with an SLSA Academy for a course, it is likely we already have your details on file. In this case, please answer “Yes” for the “Select your situation” question.

Information for families

All accounts created on Lifesaving Online are for individuals only and not families. If you are a parent    registering your children, you will need to create separate accounts for each child. Every person in the    Surf Life Saving organisation has their own entry in the national membership database to record their own awards,    assessments and patrol hours and this website reflects that.

In order to save time we recommend parents/guardians consider the following:

  • Each child will need a unique username but there’s nothing stopping you using a generic beginning – e.g.           hutchinson_billy, hutchinson_sarah or thejonesfamilybob, thejonesfamilykate.
  • You can use the same email address for all your children (however if they are existing club members the           email address must match the one currently stored by your club).
  • If desired, you can use the same password for all your children when creating their accounts.
  • If your club is using the Payment Gateway you can still pay in bulk for a single family membership, but           remember to record the details of all family members when paying.

Once these accounts have been created they can be logged in and accessed at any time to view awards and assessments,      patrol hours and personal details. Next year, in order to renew membership, you need merely log-in as the desired      individual and click a single ‘Renew’ link.
