What is this survey about?

We know from the PwC report, “What is the economic contribution of Surf Life Saving in Australia” that Surf Life Saving’s coastal drowning and injury prevention efforts in 2009/10 is estimated at a value of $3.6 billion to the Australian economy.

However, members’ contributions extend far beyond the beach and are largely unquantified. Surf Life Saving Australia in conjunction with the University of Technology, Sydney have made a survey to measure the social contribution surf club members make to their local communities both on and off the sand.

To develop a clear picture of the broader impact your surf life saving activities have made in communities around Australia we need all members of the age of 18 to complete the survey.

Please note the following before completing the survey;

This survey should only be completed by adults who are 18 years of age and over. If other people in your household are current members, they may also complete the survey.

The survey closes on Wednesday 30th November 2011.
