Due to numerous requests by the Branches, Surf Life Saving NSW will be conducting a Level 2 Officials course on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd October at SLSNSW Headquarters – 3 Narabang Way, Belrose.
The course will be limited to maximum of 20 participants. Accommodation and travel will be at the participants expense. If the official requires accommodation Checkers Resort is 800 metres away and rooms are available for $140.00 per night for a twin room. If you require accommodation, SLSNSW can put you in contact with other participants to share a room with.
Enrolment fee is $75.00 and includes all relevant officials’ course material, certificate, license and registration along with Morning Tea and Lunch on both days of the course.
Branch Directors of Surf Sports are asked to contact prospective level 1 Officials who they believe should be given the opportunity to gain their level 2 Officials accreditation and to ascertain their availability before submitting their names to SLSNSW. Level 1 Officials selected by SLSNSW will be required to complete a pre course assignment by 10th October, 2011.
Branch Directors of Surf Sports are asked to submit their preferences IN ORDER to SLSNSW by 12th September, 2011 SLSNSW will then select officials to attend the course based on the need for level 2 Officials within their Branch.
Please note that only accredited Level 1 Officials will be considered. The above information will be emailed to all level 1 officials who have held their level 1 accreditation for at least 2 years, and the memorandum will also be released in Clubmail for consideration by officials who believe they should be considered to attend the level 2 course. These officials will be asked to contact their Branch Office or Branch Directors of Surf Sports for consideration.
