With the cancellation of Nippers this week due to the rain the following info is advised in regards the the Country Champs.
Championship Events commence on Friday 16th with all Nippers water events (swim, boards, wades etc) on this day. Children should be at the grassed area (look for the Mollymook tents) at the north of the Clubhouse by 7.30 am. Nippers beach events (sprints, flags, relays) will begin Saturday 17th with children again to be at the beach by 7.30am.
A draft program is on the attached link however this is subject to change at any time depending on conditions, officials and other factors
As advised we will need to have as many parent helpers as possible at various times over the 3 days of the carnival plus the day prior to start (Thursday).
The daily activities are as follows
Thursday – Carnival/Arena/Beach set up, tent set ups,food preparation and clubhouse set up
Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Arena set up, Work party, kitchen duties and food/beveridge sales
Sunday Afternoon – Arena pull down, clean up and pack up.
Anyone who can with the set up and pull down should just turn up to the beach any time whilst anyone who can assist during the carnival should contact Sam Crockett to advise your availability and set up of rosters. We need as much assistance as possible to make this even better than last year.
