Whether you’re diving into the ocean or hitting the pavement, the Mollymook Splash & Dash has something for everyone – from serious competitors to families looking for a fun morning by the sea. Race, celebrate, and soak up the atmosphere with live music, great food, and a stunning beachside setting. Bring your loved ones, renew your vows, or simply enjoy one of the South Coast’s best community events.

The Splash

Take on the iconic Mollymook Ocean Swim with options for every level – from the 500m Junior & Novice swim perfect for first-timers, to the challenging 2.2km course for seasoned swimmers. Race for cash prizes, enjoy the “Back of the Pack” option with fins and snorkels, or test yourself in the thrilling 250m Dash for Cash. With water safety patrols, stunning beach views, and that unbeatable post-swim watermelon, it’s ocean swimming at its finest.

The Dash

Choose your challenge across three spectacular courses. The 3km Fun Run is perfect for families, strollers, and anyone wanting a car-free blast along Mitchell Parade. The 5km Coast Run throws in our legendary “heartbreak hill” plus 2km of beach running. Or go all-in with the 10km – a true test featuring hills, trails, stairs, and up to 4km of sand. Every distance finishes at the surf club with watermelon, water, and a crowd cheering you home.

PLUS: Valentine's Day Vows & Beach Party

Renew your wedding vows or reaffirm your commitment with a celebrant-led ceremony on the beach. Then stick around for live bands, cold drinks from the Surf Club bar, and delicious food vendors. It’s not just a race – it’s a celebration.

Registration opening soon for the commitment ceremony.

  • Ocean Swim: $30-$65
  • Run Events: $10-$40
  • Teams of 5+ receive discounts
  • Late entry fee: Additional $15 after Feb 12th
